ok so i have lived in a few different places (ok i have moved a million times) in my short 30 yrs. and i have seen some crazy weather. alabama has hurricanes, pennsylvania had blizzards and thunder snow (look it up it’s real), but last night totally took the cake, if you weren’t in the Portland/Southern Maine area yesterday you missed a sight! it was wild one! i was sitting on the couch watching Chopped with my hubby Charles and all of a sudden it seemed like the day turned to night, the clouds were black and the wind started blowing bending the trees like they were straws.

Charles got up from the couch to shut the back door because we knew it was coming. I noticed suddenly there were cats in my lap and for the life of me i couldn’t seperate these scared little guys from my legs for anything! the air became thick as pea soup, i could actually feel the moisture in the air. and then the rain began, the longer it rained the longer the rumbles of thunder began. the thunder was ominous as it crept closer with each strike of lightening.

as i was sitting on the couch i looked up at the skylight and the clouds were moving faster and faster, an eerie hue of green tinted the sky. they meterologist on the tv was telling people to seek emergency shelter immediately! when the guy on tv tells you to stop watching and run it’s serious business! at this point i was glued equally to the tv and the french doors that i thought were going to burst open any minute. this is it it’s armageddon! the end of the world! kiss your loved ones and say goodbye!

and then just like that it was all over, as fast as it blew in, it blew out. the skies cleared and left an amazing stary night. and today no doubt is God’s way of apologizing. all moring it’s been 60’s and sunshine. but it will be a while before we all stop talking about the storm that rocked southern Maine!

well besides if his lips are moving… lol (calm down i’m just kidding)

1.) Covering his mouth while talking. It’s as if they’re subconsciously repressing the untruths they’re spouting. It may be as blatant as completely concealing the mouth or as subtle as a single finger over the front of the lips.

2.) Touching the nose. Scientists have found that lying can cause the tissue of the nose to swell, meaning that a quick stroke could be a sign of deceit (or it’s allergy season).

3.) Rubbing an eye. When lying to someone, the instinct is to look away in shame. Since that is a dead giveaway, many people content themselves with a fast wipe of the peepers.

4.) Touching an ear. Just as you’re suppoesed to see no evil, you should hear no evil as well. These nervous gestures can range from a small rub of the back of the ear to an outright yank of the ear lobe.

5.) Going for the neck. Research has found lying can cause a tingling in the tissue of the neck, leading to scratching or pulling the collar. It signals that the speaker is feeling uncertianty, so be concerned if you see it right after your sweetie announces, “Of course this set of golf clubs, was on clearance, that is the only reason I bought them.”

6.) Shaking the head no while saying yes. If he says, “Yep, I’m getting home late because I have a big assignment to finish” while nodding his head, he is working late. If he sends the mixed message of saying yes and shaking his head no, look for him at PT’s Showcase

there you go ladies hope that helps! have a great day
